These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our website and our luxury sourcing and personal shopping services.
By instructing The Global Sourcer to source or secure an item, accepting a quotation or making payment, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
Please read them carefully before using our services.

1. ABOUT THE GLOBAL SOURCER
The Global Sourcer is an independent luxury sourcing and personal shopping service based in the United Kingdom.
We help clients locate new-season, sold-out, limited, pre-order and hard-to-find luxury fashion and lifestyle pieces through our international network of boutiques, retailers and trusted industry contacts.

2. OUR SOURCING SERVICE
Sourcing requests can be submitted through our website, WhatsApp, email or another communication channel made available by The Global Sourcer.
Submitting a sourcing request does not commit you to making a purchase.
Once we locate a requested item, we will provide the relevant information available to us, which may include availability, price, size, colour, condition and estimated delivery information.
You can then decide whether you would like to proceed.
We cannot guarantee that every requested item will be located or remain available.

3. AVAILABILITY
Luxury products are often produced in limited quantities and availability can change without notice.
Confirmation that an item has been located does not mean that it has been secured.
Unless otherwise agreed, an item will only be considered secured once the required payment has been received and we have successfully purchased or reserved the item on your behalf.
If an item becomes unavailable before we are able to secure it, we will inform you as soon as reasonably possible.
If you have already paid and we are subsequently unable to secure the item, any amount due back to you will be refunded.

4. QUOTATIONS & PRICING
All prices will be confirmed with you before you commit to a purchase.
Your quotation may include the price of the item together with applicable sourcing, procurement, delivery or other service costs. Any applicable charges will be communicated before payment.
Prices can vary depending on the country of purchase, boutique or retailer pricing, currency exchange rates, availability, delivery costs and other sourcing-related expenses.
Because luxury-product availability and international pricing can change quickly, quotations may only remain valid for a limited period.
Once you have accepted a quotation and made payment, the agreed price will apply to that transaction except where there has been an obvious pricing error or where a change is agreed with you.

5. PAYMENT
The Global Sourcer does not currently offer direct online checkout through this website.
Once you have confirmed that you wish to proceed, payment instructions will be provided separately using one of the payment methods accepted by The Global Sourcer.
Unless otherwise agreed, full payment must be received before an item can be secured.
Certain pre-orders, reservations or high-value sourcing requests may require a deposit or advance payment. Any applicable conditions will be explained before payment is made.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel a transaction where we reasonably suspect fraud, unauthorised payment activity or unlawful activity.

6. AUTHENTICITY
Authenticity is at the heart of The Global Sourcer.
We source through boutiques, retailers and trusted industry contacts and take reasonable steps appropriate to the product and source to ensure that items supplied through our service are authentic.
We do not knowingly source or supply counterfeit goods.
Where available, original packaging, receipts, authenticity cards, dust bags, boxes or other accessories may accompany an item. These are not guaranteed unless specifically confirmed before purchase.
The Global Sourcer is an independent sourcing service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or an authorised representative of any luxury brand referenced on our website, social media or communications unless expressly stated otherwise.
All trademarks and brand names remain the property of their respective owners.

7. PRODUCT INFORMATION
We take reasonable care to ensure that information provided about sourced products is accurate.
Product photographs, videos or screenshots may be supplied by boutiques, retailers, suppliers or other trusted sources.
Colours and appearance may vary slightly depending on lighting, photography and individual screen settings.
Where an item is pre-owned or vintage, we will provide the condition information reasonably available to us and disclose known material imperfections before purchase where reasonably possible.

8. PRE-ORDERS & SPECIAL REQUESTS
Certain products may be sourced through pre-orders, reservations, waiting lists or other special arrangements.
Release dates, collection dates and estimated delivery dates may be provided to us by the relevant brand, boutique, retailer or supplier and can change.
We will inform you of material changes that are communicated to us.
The fact that an item is rare, limited, sold out or sourced specifically following your request does not, by itself, remove any statutory consumer rights you may have.

9. DELIVERY
The Global Sourcer can arrange delivery within the UK and internationally.
Delivery costs and estimated timeframes depend on factors including the item's location, destination, value and courier service.
Delivery dates and timeframes are estimates unless expressly agreed otherwise.
Where appropriate, high-value orders may be sent using tracked and/or insured delivery services.
Customers are responsible for providing complete and accurate delivery information.

10. INTERNATIONAL ORDERS, CUSTOMS & DUTIES
International shipments may be subject to customs duties, import taxes or other charges imposed by the destination country.
Unless we expressly confirm that these charges are included in your quotation, they are the responsibility of the recipient.
The Global Sourcer does not control charges imposed by customs authorities.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that products requested can legally be imported into their destination country.

11. CANCELLATIONS & RETURNS
Cancellation and return rights depend on the nature of the transaction and applicable consumer law.
Where statutory cancellation rights apply to a distance contract, those rights are not removed simply because the transaction was arranged through WhatsApp, email, telephone or another remote method rather than through an online checkout.
Certain statutory exceptions may apply, including to some goods made to a customer's specifications or clearly personalised.
An ordinary retail item being sourced specifically at a customer's request does not automatically mean that the item is personalised or excluded from applicable cancellation rights.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to exclude or restrict your statutory consumer rights.
Faulty, damaged, misdescribed or incorrectly supplied products will be dealt with in accordance with applicable consumer law.

12. SOURCING TIMEFRAMES
We will provide our sourcing services with reasonable care and skill.
We cannot guarantee how long it will take to locate a particular item or that every requested item will be successfully sourced.
Any sourcing timeframe provided is an estimate unless expressly agreed otherwise.
Because availability can change quickly, an item may become unavailable while a customer is considering whether to proceed.

13. COMMUNICATION
We may communicate with clients through WhatsApp, email, telephone, social media or other agreed communication channels.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that the contact details they provide are accurate.
Some sourcing opportunities may be time-sensitive. We cannot guarantee continued availability where there is a delay in receiving confirmation or payment from a customer.

14. WEBSITE USE
The Global Sourcer website is currently provided primarily to introduce our services, allow customers to submit sourcing requests and provide information about our business.
You must not misuse the website, attempt unauthorised access, introduce viruses or malicious software, interfere with its operation or use the website for unlawful purposes.
We may update, modify or remove website content or functionality from time to time.

15. ERRORS & INACCURACIES
While we take reasonable care to provide accurate information, occasional errors or omissions may occur in relation to product descriptions, pricing, availability, delivery information or other content.
We reserve the right to correct genuine errors.
If an error materially affects a proposed transaction, we will inform you and, where appropriate, give you the opportunity to proceed on the corrected basis or not proceed.

Our website may contain links to third-party websites, platforms or services.
These third parties operate independently from The Global Sourcer, and we are not responsible for their content, availability, security or privacy practices.

Unless otherwise stated, original content belonging to The Global Sourcer, including our branding, written content, graphics and original imagery, may not be copied, reproduced, distributed or commercially used without prior written permission.
Luxury brand names, trademarks, logos and other third-party intellectual property remain the property of their respective owners.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.
Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
We are not responsible for failure or delay caused by circumstances genuinely outside our reasonable control, including disruption caused by third-party retailers, brands, customs authorities, courier services or other external events, subject always to any rights you have under applicable law.

Information provided through sourcing requests or communications may be used where necessary to respond to your enquiry, provide our services, process an agreed transaction, arrange delivery and meet our legal obligations.

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time to reflect changes to our services, business practices or legal requirements.
The latest version will be available on our website with the date it was last updated.
Changes will not retrospectively alter an existing transaction unless required by law or agreed with you.

If any part of these Terms & Conditions is found to be unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
